By default, the IFRS 16 lease excel template supports monthly, quarterly, semi-annually and annually fixed lease payments. In addition, you can specify if the payments are made in advance or in arrears.
Supports variable lease payments
By default, the IFRS 16 lease excel template supports variable lease payments that depend on either an index or a rate.
Unlimited lease contract modifications
Lease modifications, i.e. changes in scope of a lease that was not part of the original terms and conditions, are very common. Our IFRS 16 Lease Accounting Tool accommodates unlimited modifications to the lease contracts. Examples of lease modifications include extending or shortening the contractual lease term and changes to the lease payments.
Summary sheet
The "Summary" sheet summarizes key data from all lease agreements. The model is built on the basis that one sheet = one lease agreement, e.g. if your company leases one building, one car and one machine you will end up with four sheets: 1. Summary, 2. Building leasing agreement, 3. Car leasing agreement and 4. Machine leasing agreement.
